Established in 1971, Chopson Engineering Co. is committed to delivering high-quality industrial machinery and power solutions. We value customer satisfaction and have outlined our Refund and Returns Policy below.
1. Returns Policy
Due to the nature of industrial machinery and heavy equipment, returns are accepted only under the following conditions:
- The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
- The return request must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- The product must be returned in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and invoice copies.
- Custom-built, special-order, or made-to-order machinery is not eligible for return.
Chopson Engineering Co. reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any return.
2. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is:
- Physically damaged during transit
- Defective or not functioning properly
You must inform us within 48 hours of delivery with proper photographs and details.
After verification:
- Repair or replacement will be arranged, OR
- A refund may be processed if replacement is not possible.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed only after:
- Inspection and approval of the returned product
- Confirmation that the product meets return conditions
Refund Method:
- Refunds will be made through the original payment method (bank transfer, cheque, etc.).
- Processing time: 7–14 business days after approval.
Shipping, installation, and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch without penalty.
- If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
- For special/custom orders, advance payments are non-refundable.
5. Warranty Claims
Most machinery supplied by Chopson Engineering Co. is covered under manufacturer warranty (if applicable). Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not include:
- Damage due to improper installation
- Unauthorized repairs
- Misuse or negligence
- Normal wear and tear
